About the Role

Manages a Business Systems Consulting staff that, as liaisons between a line of business and the technical organization, plans, conducts and directs analyses of technological solutions for moderately complex to complex applications that may impact multiple lines of business and/or products and systems. Oversees and facilitates evaluation of business requirements, recommending and directing the implementation of appropriate technological alternatives. Provides specialized, in-depth technical expertise and consultation to business and systems management. Manages staff to ensure effective design, analysis, project management, programming, training, implementation, and maintenance of enhancements. Reviews and recommends technology policy and assists in the systems planning process. Identifies risk factors and establishes/implements appropriate controls. Develops RFPs and has responsibility for vendor oversight and selection as appropriate. May prepare and/or administer a budget.



Responsibilities

  • Provides specialized, in-depth technical expertise and consultation to business and systems management. Manages staff to ensure effective design, analysis, project management, programming, training, implementation, and maintenance of enhancements.
  • Reviews and recommends technology policy and assists in the systems planning process.
  • Identifies risk factors and establishes/implements appropriate controls.
  • Develops RFPs and has responsibility for vendor oversight and selection as appropriate.
  • May prepare and/or administer a budget.
  • Support projects as needed
  • Maintain training and compliance knowledge

Requirements

  • College graduate / Bachelor's degree, any field
  • With at least 3 years of leadership or management experience. At least 5 years of information technology experience, an advantage. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience or 3 years of experience coaching and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated 1 year experience in at least one of the following systems: FDR, ECaR, CSS, Universal Workstation or Hogan.
  • Experience in EFS, Retail Services, Dillard's, Direct Auto, PL&L, credit cards or financial cards products.
  • Customer service focus with the ability to analyze and research moderately complex customer or agency issues and complaints.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, manage tactical or strategic initiatives achieve high production and quality standards, and manage to production goals, deadlines and various metrics.
  • Intermediate MS Office suite skills. Able to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information and maintain professional etiquette under pressure.
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Amenable to work on the night shift / shifting schedules. Flexible to work extended hours and holidays (US & PH holidays) as needed or scheduled.
